Rock Salt Restaurant Albany is a small, family-owned and operated business built around good food, genuine hospitality and bringing people together.

Our family has grown Rock Salt around what we love doing most — creating generous food with character and welcoming locals, visitors, families and groups into a relaxed place to eat, drink and enjoy time together.

At the heart of the kitchen is Pitmaster Dilon Rosa, preparing Rock Salt’s smoked meats and seafood in-house with care, using our own spice blends, seasonings, sauces and smoking methods. From slow-smoked brisket and pulled pork to house-smoked sausages and seafood, the smokehouse has become a defining part of Rock Salt.

Michelle Lee brings the sweeter and more creative side of the restaurant to life through house-made desserts, cocktails and mixology.

Rock Salt is truly a family effort, with our sons Dillon and Leo Rosa also helping in the business and growing up as part of the Rock Salt journey.

Our atmosphere extends beyond the kitchen too, with original themed music from TropicFunk, blending Texas country blues with upbeat reggae, pop and funk influences.
